Abstract;Marunouchi building was the historical building which has experienced Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, disassembled 74 years later after the construction and investigated widely. And the precious data concerning damage by the earthquake and its repair were obtained.On the concrete, it is estimated that averages of the compression strength is 26.6N/m2, the unit cement content is 176-494kg/m3, the unit quantity of water is 146-285kg/m3, the corrosion of the reinforcement is seldom recognized, and the neutralization depth was smaller than the estimated one.
