| Abstract;This paper introduces the development of a model for evaluating and designing an appropriate ventilation/air conditioning system which maintains the amenity of the kitchen environment and exhibits high energy saving performance. It is called "kitchen comfort" constituted of a human body thermal model for evaluating the amenity and a calculation hydrodynamic model for calculating the thermal environment and the both are coupled by the convective heat transfer in the human body surface. The human body thermal model is constituted of the human tissue and a thermoregulation system. Cases calculated by applying the prototype of this model are also introduced. |
