Abstract;To secure a stand-by power source in the university, a field test of cogeneration adopting phosphatic fuel cells using city gas as fuel is executed. Twin inverters are used so as to smoothen the switching of a system between self sustaining and interconnection. By the above described system, continuous rated operation can be made. High temperatura waste heat is utilizes for an absorption water cooling/heating machine for air conditioning, and low-temperature waste heat is utilized for a desiccant system for dehumidification in a clean room in summer and for air conditionsing in winter.
