| Abstract;This paper describes the outline of town planning of Itabashi ward, Tokyo, made in consideration of environmental conservation. After the declaration of eco-friendly city, environmental conservation by citizens and staffs of local government has been advanced, and the entrepreneurs' independent challenge to it has been supported. Environmental load reduction measures have been taken as follows; low-pollution automobiles were adopted, nitrogen oxide removal using coating materials containing photocatalyst was tested, environmental information has been provided, and recycling of resorces has been executed by water recovery and collection of classified refuse. |
