Abstract;CRL/NASDA airborn synthetic apature radar has 2 functional advantages. One is high spacial resolution and the other is multi frequency. To apply these functions for distinction of forest type, we tried to filter for speckle noise reduction, and compare with aerial photograph and RGB composit images of SAR. Special feature of each forest type in dB value is also considered. (author abst.)
