| Abstract;Tachibana Bay thermal power plant is the greatest coal fired power plant in Japan, and there were constructed eight indoor coal storage facilities having a capacity of 70,000t. In the construction of a super-large cylindrical body of this silo, a ring beam type slipform method was adopted. The structure of this super-large coal silo has the maximum height of 74,5m and a cylindrical body height of 52m. This paper investigates the construction method of upper part of the cylindrical body and the general performance of concrete, and besides, its early strength. |
