| Abstract;This paper presents a theory of cycloidal gear design as a basis of a "cycloidal gear design method which is thought to be easier than the conventional theory" which the author devised. This paper explains a cycloidal gear curve, meshing of tooth forms, definition quantity of cycloidal gears, a locus of contact points and contact rate, quantitative relation between an O1 car and an O2 car, and a design theory formula for gear set, and it presents applications. |
