| Abstract;Recent years, the field of nuclear chemistry in Japan has greatly developed in accordance with the development of the accelerators and their experimental facilities. Nuclear chemistry studies in Japan will be briefly reviewed. The present review is mainly concerned with the works related to nuclear fission and discoveries of new radioisotopes. And the future plan for the syntheses and study of chemical properties of trans-actinoid elements will be presented. (author abst.) |
