Abstract;Measurement of an excitation function for 63Cu(n,p)63Ni is very important because the fucntion is used as basic data in calculating an energy spectrum of neutrons (for example neutron energy spectrum of the Hiroshima atomic bomb). In this paper, the excitation function for above reaction was measured for the neutron energy below 6.5MeV. An irradiation of neutrons to Cu-sample was carried out at FNL of Tohoku University. The samples were chemically separated to Ni, Co and Cu fractions. Beta-rays of Ni-fractions will be measured by low-background liquid scinttilattor at RI-center in University of Tokyo. In the presentation, the excitation function obtained in this experiment will be discussed. (author abst.)
