| Abstract;Positron annihilation is a useful technique to study characteristics of substances: for example, lattice defects in metals and free volume in polymers. In the measurement, Doppler broadening spectroscopy using a GeSSD is one of the useful measurements. Using two GeSSDs, coincidence Doppler spectroscopy has been applied to two different kinds of organometalic ligands: metal phthalocyanines and metal accetylacetonates. Since the spectrum obtained by this method has mach smaller BG than regular Doppler broadening spectroscopy, the component of large momentum can be measured. The energy (momentum) profiles of the annihilation gamma-rays were the same for metal phthalocyanines indicating that positron and/or positronium are not interacting with the metal ions. Discussion is made on the features of positron interaction which are different for phtharocyanines and acetylacetonates. (author abst.) |
