Abstract; The k0-neutron-induced prompt gamma-ray analysis (k0-PGA) has been applied to the determination of multielements in reference material of "Typical Japanese Diet" prepared by the National Institute for Environmental Studies. Since the k0-PGA is based on an internal standardization, matrix and geometry effects can be corrected and accurate determination becomes possible. However, the k0-PGA can determine only relative elemental concentrations, absolute elemental concentrations were obtained by normalization to the Cl concentration a standard addition method. The elemental concentrations such as H, B, N, Na and K were determined by the k0-PGA. Accuracy of the determination was confirmed by analyzing NIST Standard Reference Material of Typical Diet (SRM 1548a). (author abst.)
