| Abstract; So far, neutron activation analysis (NAA) has been extensively applied to meteorite samples for the determination of elemental abundances. Different nuclides are produced from the same element with NAA and photon activation analysis (PAA), so both of the methods can be applied to the same sample. As the amount of meteorite samples available for chemical analysis is limited, it is convenient to apply plural analytical methods to the same meteorite sample. In this study, meteorite samples were irradiated with neutrons after photon irradiation. We examined effectiveness of the combined methods of PAA and NAA. (author abst.) |
