| Abstract; The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effect of H2 heat treatment of bismuth telluride thermoelectric(Bi-Te) raw powders on thermoelectric properties of sintered body. Raw powders of Bi-Te were prepared by milling Bi-Te pollycrystalline ingot. After heat treating of Bi-Te raw powders with H2, semiconducting ceramics of Bi-Te were fabricated by spark plasma sintering. Thermoelectric properties such as resistivity, seebeck coefficient, thermal conductivity and concentrarion of O2 were measured. As results, resistivity and seebeck coefficient of P type and thermal conductivities of P and N type decreased with increasing temperature and time, but resistivity and seebeck coefficient of N type inversely increased with increasing temperature and time. The results suggest that thermoelectric properties varies with concentrarion of O2 in sintered body. (author abst.) |
