Abstract;The degradation reactions of parallel-stranded DNA duplex by peplomycin metal complexes were investigated. It was found that peplomycin can cleave a DNA strand in parallel-stranded duplex by 4'-hydrogen abstraction at 5'-Gpy site. (author abst.)
