Abstract;Non-enzymatic ligation has also been great interest because of its potential synthetic utility and implication for antigene applications. Such non-enzymatic ligation method make it possible to connect DNA at the designed site, but it is also difficult to apply to living systems because of the toxicity of activators for chemical ligation. Photochemical ligation method is very attraction to overcome such problems. We demonstrate reversible photoligation of oligonucleotides via 5-vinyl-deoxyuridine(vU) in this report. (author abst.)
