Abstract; Two new supermolecules comprising tris(Zn2+-cyclen)(Zn3L) and cyanuric acid(CA) in aqueous solution are reported. The 1H NMR, UV, ITC experiments have indicated that Zn3L and CA forms 2:3 complex, in which three molecules of CA dianion are sandwiched between two molecules of Zn3L. The second supermolecule, 4:4 complex of Zn3L and CA trianion, was isolated and found to have a cage-like structure of nanometer-scale. (author abst.)
