Abstract;She Zhen(observation of the tongue) and Mai Zhen(palpation of the pulse) play important roles in diagnosis in Chinese medicine, however, there have been few reports on the application of She Zhen and Mai Zhen to patients undergoing radiation therapy. In the present study, tongue and pulse findings were compared in patients sheduled for radiation therapy and subjects undergoing health examinations at public health centers, and the She Zhen and Mai Zhen findings obtained in the patients undergoing radiation therapy were also investigated.
