| Abstract;AML1/EVI-1 chimeric gene was cloned from cDNA library of SKH1 cell line established from a patient with acute crisis of megakaryoblasts of chronic myelogenous leukemia. It was formed as a result of autosomal translocation of t(3;21). It seems to be involved in the progression of hemopoietic stem cell cancer. This paper explains the following items:1) AML1/EVI-1 structure, 2) inhibitory function of cytodifferentiation in Runt homologous domain of AML1, 3) proliferation-stimulative function in the second zinc finger domain of EVI-1, and 4) functions of both proliferation inhibition failure and apoptosis suppression in the first zinc finger domain of EVI-1. |
