| Abstract;A method for modifying the analytical model of large structures is proposed. There are two problems in previous methods. One is that identified mass matrix is not unique and the other is that we cannot obtain mass properties of the structure from the identified mass matrix. The proposed method, which uses measured mass property data of the structure, can solve these problems. Once we identify a unique mass matrix, we can identify stiffness matrix that is unique. A numerical example of cantilever beam is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. It is shown that the proposed method is effective to find more accurate mass and stiffness matrices. (author abst.) |
