| Abstract;A fundamental task for an autonomous mobile robot is that of localization. Determining the position of the robot in the environment is known as a robot localization problem. In present study, three methods are considered for a mobile robot to localize itself in an indoor environment. These methods are that the robot localizes itself using a matching technique, and compares the response data with a priori map containing the geometric elements. (author abst.) |
