| Abstract;In order to explain cellular construction of plant cells, especially that of chloroplast, an important intracellular organelle, and the construction processes are divided into their elementary processes. Then, latest knowledges were reviewed by the researchers working in the front line of each elementary process in Japan. This paper announces the following 6 topics on chloroplast are described, i.e., 1) mechanism of chloroplast division, 2) structure and function of chloroplast nucleus, 3) mechanism of transcriptional control, 4) regulation of gene expression, 5) intracellular transportation of proteins, and 6) function and plant development. |
