| Abstract;On the useful diets for patient with lactation mastitis were studied by searching crude drugs in the traditional chinese medical literature. They considered that lactation mastitis was caused by stagnation of the liver qi and by over heat of the stomach; and that the stomach, the spleen, the kidney and the liver channels were passages distributed in the breast. Forty three crude drugs using for treatment of patient with lactation mastitis were searched in the literatures. Tastes of these drugs were sweet, bitter and hot in order of large number. As for nature of these drugs, number of warm drugs exceeded altogether numbers of cool and cold ones. Concerning relation of these drugs to the channels, drugs were belonged to the stomach, the lung, the liver channels in order of large number. As for medical effects, almost all of drugs promoted secretion of mother's milk and flow of the milk. There were only 4 drugs to supprres secretion of the milk. Simaltaneously, the greater part of these drugs had effects such as alleviation of fever, detoxication, activation of the blood flow and promotion of metabolism of body fluid. As materials of diet for patient with lactation mastitis, pig, deer, carp, adzuki bean, green bean, lettuce and leek were used among these drugs. (author abst.) |
