| Abstract;Abo has proposed "An immunity theory from the viewpoint of evolutionary theory" to discuss the relation between nerves, especially autonomic nerves, and immunity thoughout the evolution of animals. Using this theory, Abo suggested that neutrophils respond to sympathetic innervation and that lymphocytes respond to parasympathetic innervation. This theory presents evidence supporting the field of psychoneurological immunology that has been developing in recent years. The authors performed a clinical investigation of Abo's theory using a wave analyzing apparatus MRA-1 Special. Their result comfirm Abo's theory for two kinds of diseases in which immunity is involved. (author abst.) |
