| Abstract; One of the fundamental circuit in the brain and spinal cord is a crossover reactivity neuronal circuit. For the cross over reactivity neuronal circuit formationin the vertebrate, the axson attracting activity of the baseplate existing in the neural tube ventral side median line fulfils an important role. The baseplate as both of the axon attracting activity and the repulsion activity, shows direct an opossite action according to the difference in the axon as an object, and plays also an active role in the noncrossover activity neuronal circuit formation besides the crossover reactivity neuronal circuit formation, and also, this base plate proved to change the reactivity against the axson attracting activity. In this phenomenon, netrine and slit as the first example, a molecule manifested in the baseplate exhibits an important function. |
