| Abstract; From the retina, it is projected onto the optic tectum which is the center of visual sense, in the 2-dimensionally and in the strictly corresponded relation. Therefore, each of the retina and the optic tectum is formed as a compartment, a location specificity develops within the compartment with the result to cause an appearance of a molecule related to the target selection. In the present report, the authors explained the fact that an interaction between Pax-2,5 and Fgf 8 fulfils an important role, in its downstream, En participates in the location specificity formation along the optic tectum longitudinal axis and molecules of Ephrin-A 2, A 5 etc. related in the target selection appear through the induction by En. |
