Abstract; The land mollusc slug has a simple nervous system, and carries out an advanced olfactory and taste associated learning. This learning is deeply related with the olfactory center called the fore brain. In the fore brain, about 104pieces of 2 sorts of small type nerve cells constitute an regular circuit, and theese cells are producing a synchronized membrane potential vibration. The fore brain nerve activity is modified by the smell stimulus, and a learning dependent erethismic change is observed. The brain of slug is a very useful model system for the research on the associated learning.
