| Abstract; The organ culture of the brain tissue appeared as a preparating technology providing an acute slice together with merits of the primary culture cells. By the appearance of both primary culture of the nerve cell preparation and the acute slice preparation, research on the synaptic circuit rapidly advanced, and by the introduction of the organ culture technology, an additional jump can be greately expected. In the present report, the authors explained the applicability and the related some problem in the research on the synaptic function, with referrence to the synaptic plasticity related to the investigation using 2 kinds of the preparation by the rolling culture tube method, which had been experiencd by the authors for the first time, and another ordinary stationary culture method. |
