Abstract;Change in the synapse function is a base of information management in the neural circuit. In order to analyse the mechanism of this change on the molecular levels, using the living nerve cells, it is necessary to utilyse a nerve cell system in culture. In this report, a culture system coressponding to this purpose was developed, then, by the application of electrophysiological, cellbiological and molecular biological technique to this system, the authors conducted the analyse of a long term change in the synapse formation and synapse transmission efficiency and, in addition, a protein involved in the neural circuit formation. Such an effect contributes to the elucidation of operation principle of the neural circuit, and also, leads to the explication of the neural circuit repair and regeneration.
