Abstract;The role of MRS in clinical diagnosis of cancer and evaluation of therapeutic effects were studied. Differential diagnosis of necrosis with regrowth of brain tumor is very difficult in recent Imaging method especially CT and MRI. we compared with 1H-CSI and PET in some cases of gliomas and metastatic brain tumor. Choline signal elevation seen in brain neoplasms associated with increased cellular proliferation. Elevation of choline signal seemed most cases of regrowth of brain tumor, whereas defect of choline signal seemed in brain necrosis. (author abst.)
