Abstract;A 65-year-old female suffering from hepatic cell carcinoma was treated with transcatheter arterial embolization. After the first embolization along right hepatic artery, any eruption was not observed. The second embolization along left hepatic artery was performed with targeting the tumor of left hepatic lobe. After three days, painful erythema with bulla was observed on the skin of upper abdominal wall. Hepatic falciform artery, which reached the subcutanous tissue on abdominal wall through the left hepatic lobe, had been imaged on arteriograpy computed tomograpy. This artery seems to be responsible for the cutaneous complication of TAE procedure. (author abst.)
