Abstract;A 64 years old man had edematous erythema and erosion on the lips, tongue and genitalia on the next day after taking drugs including minocycline for his common cold. He also had subfever and conjunctivitis. He experienced the same symptom by minocycline including prescription two years ago. A patch test using 10-40% minocycline in vaseline and an oral challenge of 1mg minocycline were positive. Differential diagnosis with Stevens-Johnson syndrome was discussed. (author abst.)
