Abstract;A case of granular cell tumor (GCT) is reported. A 66-year-old female visited our hospital complaining a brown colored tumor of the lower abdomen. The tumor measured 1.1*0.7cm in size. Histopathological feature of the specimen revealed a proliferation of large, polygonal cells with an eosinophilic granular cytoplasm in the dermis. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for S-100 protein and neuron specifi enolase. This results support that GCT is a Schwann cell origin. (author abst.)
