| Abstract;A 21-year-old-male was arrested for carring a weapon. He had a valid gun licence, but he took the gun outside of the appointed place, and then reassembled it illegally. He was psychologically analyzed, and diagnosed to have a dissocial personality disorder. He had repeatedly attempted suicide because of trifling matters in his student days. He had strange ideas concerning homicide and suicide, and tended to make light of both his life and as well as that of others. He used to enjoy playing battle simulation games, and had also read many books describing methods of killing and death at his own hand in his younger days. It was concluded that such books had had a demoralizing influence on his mental development. (author abst.) |
