| Abstract;Liposuction was introduced to the field of cosmetic surgery in the late 1970s. With the development of smaller cannulas, the tumescent technique, the syringe method, superficial liposuction and so forth, liposuction has become a safe and reproducible procedure that we now call "liposculpture". Liposuction is one of the most frequently performed cosmetic procedures today. There are few reports on the details of this procedure in Japanese literature. In this article we describe how body contouring is performed in our clinic. (author abst.) |
