| Abstract;Since 1983 we have been performing liposuction of the lower extremities using the dry method with the aid of an airtourniquet under general anesthesia. The advantages of this technique include a shorter recovery period and a lower incidence of post-operative complications such as surface irregularities and pigmentary changes.
