Abstract; We report a 69-year-old man with an elastic hard subcutaneous tumor on the left chest. Histologically there was a pseudocyst with inflammatory cells infiltration consisting of foreign body giant cells, many eosinophils, a few lymphocytes and neutrophils. Though Weber-Christian disease was firstly supposed, since the patient had systemic symptoms such as Raynaud's phenomenon and recurrent mild fever, no histopathological results were obtained, suggesting Weber-Christian disease. Thus, this lesion was diagnosed to be a foreign body granuloma with lipolysis. (author abst.)
