Abstract;A 59-years old man developed a cutaneous nodule on a lesion consisting of comedo-like papules on his right arm. Histopathogical findings of comedo-like papules and the nodule showed comedones and an epidermal cyst, respectively. We diagnosed these lesions to be epidermal cyst occurred on nevus comedonicus. Immunohistochemistry with anti-keratin antibodies suggested that both the epidermal cyst and comedo-like papules had similar characters consistent with the infundibulum of hair follicle. We suppose that the epidermal cyst may be associated with nevus comedonicus in our case. (author abst.)
