| Abstract;We have studied the structures of spread monolayers of a series of cis-unsaturated long-chain acids. The dendritic growth of the condensed domains was observed with BAM. In comparison with geometrical isomers, it seems that the dendritic growth might be result from the bent shape structures of cis-unsaturated long-chain acids in condensed phases. We used FT-IR spectroscopy to evaluate molecular conformations. Micro-phase separation in two components complex monolayers was also studied with AFM. (author abst.) |
