| Abstract;In mixed monolayers spread from the mixtures of two different mate rials having hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon chain respectively, two-dimensional micro phase-separated structures are formed. In this study, we have systematically examined the change of the micro phase-separated structures by varying some experimental parameters such as temperature of the water surface, mixing ratio, hydrophobic chain length, and so on, and consider the formation mechanism of them. Attempt has been made to control the mirco phase-separated structures, that is the size, shape and distribution of the condensed micro-phase islands in the monolayers. (author abst.) |
