Abstract;Relationship between monolayer phase in a single component system and miscibility in binary monolayer of fatty acid was investigated based on atomic force microscopic observations of monolayer morphology. It became clear that the monolayer phase in a single component system does not affect the miscibility in the binary monolayer. (author abst.)
