Abstract;Monolayers on pure water were prepared using an asymmetric macrocyclic bis-TTF derivatives. The change in pi-A curve was investigated as a function of the concentration of alkaline-metal ion in the subphase. The domain structures of monolayers on mica were observed using AFM and the molecular orientation in the LB film was evaluated using polarized UV-VIS spectra. (author abst.)
