Abstract;In order to fabricate the unsymmetrical (Z-type) Langmuir-Blodgett film having an ability of second nonlinear optical effect, we synthesized amphiphilic pyrimidine derivatives introduced hydroxy group into the end of hydrophobic alkyl chain. The deposition type of monolayer was examined on the mixing system with amphiphilic pyrimidine compound not having any polar group on hydrophobic chain. We will report about the effects of mixing two types of pyrimidine compounds. (author abst.)
