| Abstract;This paper explains trends and risk factors of arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO), classifications (Fontaine classification) and features of ASO, obstructive lesions of ASO and clinical manifestations, and emergency treatment of severe ischemic limbs and the acute aggravation. ASO trends to increase with the change of life-style and with the aging of the population. As the risk factor of ASO, smoking, hypertension, etc. are important. And, appropriate diagnosis and treatment are important in the stage of the intermittent claudication. |
