Abstract; This paper explains the tests for diagnosis by exclusion to be conducted for chronic arteriosclerosis. Tests in the case of palpation of the beat such as intermittent claudication (plain roentgenography, MRI, myelography, etc.) are showed, and differential diagnosis between spinal canal stenosis and Raynaud disease is discussed. Artery obstruction diseases (Buerger disease, arteriosclerosis obliterans, artery embolism), for which differential diagnosis is done in the cases of no feeling beat, are enumerated, and the points of differential diagnosis (acute or chronic, progressive rapid symptom, advanced ischemia, etc.) are shown.
