Abstract; The usefulness of exercise therapy for intermittent claudication is discussed. This paper describes the indication of exercise therapy for intermittent claudication and practical exercise therapy for the chronic arterial obstruction disease patient (continuation for obtaining the effect, motion content, point to be cared, setting objectives). In addition, combined use of the antithrombotic drug and control of the concomitant disease are described, and a case (68-year-old man) of intermittent claudication, for which the combined use of pharmacotherapy and exercise therapy was effective, is presented.
