| Abstract;This paper explains essential drug (ED) concepts, definitions of ED, ED and primary health care, development of the drug to the rational use concepts and characteristics of ED. In addition, up-to-date problems and medical care guidelines of ED are discussed, and the importance of popularization and promotion of EBM is indicated. ED concepts are emphasized in the primary health care, and will be a key of the problem solving the improper use of the drug. |
