Abstract;Single-crystal X-ray analysis has shown that p-tert-butylsulfinylcalix[4]arene (H4L) can bind Pd2+ ion by using either S or O atoms of bridging S=O groups in addition to phenolic oxygen atoms to form in [Pd2(H2L)(H3L)2] complex. (author abst.)
