| Abstract; In this paper, various sensors of grip type for measurements of grasping force distribution have been examined in order to design the optimum shape of grip for ski pole. These grip sensors are piled up in parallel by rings as cross section of the ski pole grip. Grasping tests are provided with 7 sensors of straight and tapered grips setting on ski pole shaft. Feature of grasping force for stick and swing ski pole and evaluation of grip and swing were measured by using these grip sensors. Experimental results show that diameter of 35mm is the best evaluation of grip and diameter of 30mm is the best evaluation of swing and total grasping force at diameter of 30mm is smaller than other grip sensors. When sticking ski pole optimum grasping diameter is larger than swinging it and total grasping force is the largest. It is necessary to consider difference between stick and swing, when design ski pole. (author abst.) |
