| Abstract;Definitions and disease concepts of endometriosis (EN) are described. Pathophysiology of EN is the growth and the development of the endometrium or endometrium-like tissues in the position except for the cavum uteri and corpus uteri tunica muscularis, and the favorite sites are shown.
