| Abstract;Diagnosis of endometriosis (EN) from the viewpoint of QOL is examined. Major symptoms of EN are algomenorrhea and sterility, and this disease with the pain as the main symptom remarkably hurts QOL. In Japan, EN is diagnosed based on the internal examination, ultrasonography, etc., and the GnRH derivative treatment is started. As the low dose pill can prevent the progression of EN throughout the long term, this treatment is recommended to utilize the long-term follow-up for the maintenance of QOL as a principal objective. |
